The Small Town Entrepreneur – You know I’m back like I never left
Growing up in a small town and spending the majority of my adult life in larger cities, I’ve come to realize that for the majority of the corporate world, small towns are a forgotten way of life. At the core of these small towns are hard working entrepreneurs. Family businesses; the hardware store, the arcade, the local diner and the local general store. These entrepreneurs built the downtowns. In order for these small businesses to survive, it’s important that they complement each other rather than compete. They need to create an ecosystem of self-supporting retailers, to drive tourism and to continue to build a self-sustaining future. They need to work together!
For these small town entrepreneurs, not having the right support systems and tools in place, well, it’s a game changer….
As a proud localist coming from Grand Falls-Windsor, a small town of approximately 13k residents, located in the heart of Newfoundland and Labrador, I’ve committed to helping local small town entrepreneurs succeed. With over 20 years experience and growing up with a father who was an entrepreneur, I plan on sharing :
- Coaching – provide support and mentorship for entrepreneurs
- Training – workshops, how-to as well as tips and tricks on digital marketing
- Tools – provide digital tools to help successfully market new and existing businesses
I cannot do this alone, but we can do this together. Let’s see what we can create. It’s time to take action and the time is now! Please comment and share any ideas you would like to see.
